Product Description

With the Parrot 3200 LS Color Bluetooth Hands-free Car Kit, you'll be able to place and receive calls in comfort and safety, without ever touching your mobile phone. Plus you get the benefits of a large, 160 x 128 color screen that supports 262,000 colors.

At a time when legislation is tightening up to restrict the use of mobile phones in vehicles due to safety concerns, the Parrot 3200 LS's benefits are not just for the sake of convenience and comfort -- they are fast becoming a real necessity. The Parrot 3200 LS wirelessly connects with all Bluetooth phones on the market and offers effortless synchronization with information on your phone. The display of the 3200 LS provides the same visual information and functions as your mobile phone, such as caller ID, carrier signal strength, or last calls received, on a unit that can be clipped in the ideal position for the driver to see. And thanks to the big color screen, you can even view pictures of incoming callers. A large control knob easily adjusts the volume while also offering fast navigation of the unit's menus and options.

Turn on the car engine and the phone connects wirelessly to the Parrot 3200 LS. The screen unit has easy-to-navigate menu options just like your phone, and your mobile phone book is wirelessly downloaded to the car kit. Calls can be dialed either through the screen, or by using voice-recognition speed dialing (up to 150 names can be programmed into the voice recognition system). According to your phone's model and firmware, most features are accessible from the hands free console, including one-touch redial, dual call, and auto-answer.

The 3200 LS can be installed in almost any vehicle, and is designed to automatically mute the radio during use. Incorporating high-quality sound, the unit's speakerphone includes both echo cancellation and noise reduction technology. The device also features polyphonic ringtones, multi-user use for up to five phones, private conversation mode, and much more.

Since this car-kit is installed by hard-wiring to the existing car stereo, professional installation is highly recommended. The included universal Parrot interface is designed to work with virtually any car brand.

Excellent! Just remember to get a wiring harness.

The Parrot bluetooth car kit was easy to install once I got the wiring harness. It was literally plug-and-play for me in my 2006 Accord. The final bill was $310, which included a swivel mount, wire harness and the device itself. I installed it myself; it took about 4 hours. Excellent device and great speech clarity

Awesome bluetooth car kit. Works exactly as advertised. Syncs with my Treo 700p flawlessly evertime I get in my car. Also hooks up with my girlfriend's phone when she is riding with me. Great for streaming MP3's to the sound system as well. Display is clear and functions are easy to use.

The only negative that I can think of is that this is not necessarily an install that you want to do on your own. Especially if your car has a factory stereo with a built in amplifier. It gets pretty complicated and is likely beyond most layman's ability. The instructions are a little vague and being that its manufactured with wiring for european cars its definately not plug and play. There are some good third party wiring harnesses available though that make it a whole lot easier.

Once its in place though it is Great!!
Easy to install and lots of amazing features

The Parrot 3200 was installed today in my car and I'm just amazed. The first thing is car installation. This was too easy. I went to a car & radio shop and the guys there didn't have a problem at all installing this product eventough it was their first time doing it. I have an iMate SP5 and it bound to the car kit real easy. What is really nice is that once you start the car engine, the car kit will bind to the phone automatically, you'll have to do nothing. Once you're phone is bound to the car kit, the kit will start to synchronize the contacts in the phone so you won't need the phone to search for a contact and so on. The kit has three buttons, one to answer or confirm and action, another to browse the phone functions and a third one to cancel an action. This is all you need to browse your contacts, configure the car kit, make or receive calls and so on. You can also add voice commands, voice tags, add photos for your contacts, etc. In total, this car kit is great, lots of features and, eventough the price is a little bit higher than all others, you will find it very usefull and become used to it real quick
Fantastic Product

I have owned the Parrot 3200LS car kit for over a month. It is installed in my Honda Oddysey, and works great. Conversations are much clearer than they are on the cell phone alone. The callers voices are heard over the car stereo speakers, and the impression is like carrying on a conversation with a passenger in the van. It is a well designed unit, with a well considered interface. The voicedialing works expecially well, although I would suggest using the trigger word "telephone" rather than "phone" to start the voicedialing routine.

My mechanic had a very easy time intalling the system in my car. It took him a bit under an hour and ended up costing me about $100.00.

My only criticism is the documentation. It is typical of newer electronic gear, somewhat short of specifics. however the interface is sooo easy that I had no difficulty figuring it out.
A very smart purchase

I had my Parrot devise installed professionally the day after I received it in the mail. This is by far one of the best purchases I've made in terms of cell phone devices. The sound quality is clear and excellent. You don't have to yell in the mic to be heard on the other person's line. It was easy to link to my T-Mobile sidekick. This unit is very easy to use. If you have kids, I highly recommend this item. I'm getting another one to put in my wife's van.
