| I have used this smart-phone for 2 years, and I can't stop to like it. It looks like new until now because its construction is very strong and simple. There is a great camera 5 mpx and flash. Also, there is a front camera, which only i-phone 4g has. I use Fring for video call and all people, who use either a computer with Skype or some devices like i-phone, for example, can see me. In contrast, I can't see any i-phone users. I can send and receive files by this program, while i-phone users can't receive them because of its security. There are many programs that greatly work in N 82. Also, I can browser its memory like a typical flash card that is very useful. Wi-fi works well; I can download many free files and programs without any stores. Finally, its keyboard is good, too. After a while, I began to like it because I don't need to look at the keyboard. My fingers remembered all keys that helps me when I drive. GPS works pretty fast if ATT helps to find my location in the beginning. Unfortunately, I have never used 3g because Wi-fi, which is everywhere, is enough for me. SO, It's a great device. |
A valiant effort by Nokia, but not good enough

The phone has a lot of features on it like music player, gps, web, etc. You can't use this phone with a Mac computer. The music upload is cumbersome because if you don't convert to a specific file format it will eat up all your memory and then the sound quality is okay for head phones but awful if you play on stereo or your car. Not to mention the upload of music to your phone will create duplicate songs or just not upload.
This phone will go haywire about once every 2 weeks, when I recieve a message it will not stop vibrating I have to shut it down. The camera freezes up and there is no option to put the date on the picture.
The GPS is horrible, ATT doesn't even support it, I had to download Google maps and now it finally works. In addition there are very few internet radio stations that can be installed on this phone, because they are not supported.
This phone is not worth it. I have not dropped this phone or caused any damage. I'm not impressed Nokia needs to update the processor. Just remember this is the same processor that use in the new Nokia phones. Stay away from Nokia until they update the processor. If you are going to spend this much money get an I-phone. |
